What will Bookmark be like?

Join us at 5 p.m. for a reception and to purchase raffle tickets. Then we’ll be seated upstairs at 7 p.m. for a great meal and program featuring special performances and speakers, with a chance to invest in the Portland literary community. 

How long will the cocktail hour be and what kind of food will be served?

Doors open at 5 p.m. for a two-hour reception in the Sunken Ballroom. Visit with friends and enjoy delicious appetizers, along with a hosted bar with beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian options will be available; please inquire with servers as they make their way around to you.

Just before 7 p.m., we will transition upstairs to the Grand Ballroom for a seated dinner and program. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when registering for this event or email Rachel Hershey at rachel@literary-arts.org.

Come in your finest and ready for an elevated evening.

Street parking and public parking lots are available. Please observe posted time limits.

How can I donate to Literary Arts at the event?

You will be asked for your credit card during the registration process when you arrive to start a tab. You will then be provided a bid paddle to make any donations or purchases. The credit card on file will be charged at the end of the night to include all of your purchases. You will only be charged for what you spend. You will be emailed your receipt, or we can print one for you that night. You can also bring a check or cash to pay for purchases at checkout.
